It was Lucy's first Christmas and her first snowfall. Which ended up being 14", which is unheard of for here. It was a crazy blizzard and what I like to call "Snowmaggedon". Cars were stranded, Christmas Eve services were cancelled, the malls closed down and basically nobody could go anywhere. Nana and Grandad and Auntie KK got stuck in their drive way and almost didn't make it over for Christmas Eve supper. We were sad that Aunt B couldn't make it over, but we wanted her to be safe.
It's really hard to get a baby to sit still in front of the tree.
So what was I thinking when I tried to get both of them to sit still?
Finally! After we finally snapped this shot we decided to tuck them in for bedtime so that they would get plenty of rest for our big Christmas Day...which was actually Christmas eve, but Daddy worked Christmas day...
Okay, maybe one more snuggle picture.
